How I built this site

Hello! I'm John, and I'd like to tell you about how I built this site, and about the incredible tools I use that have turned a labor of love into a growing business.

When I started this site, it was to share my love and passion for close-up and macro photography, and to harness all that is good about the Internet:

It is open 24/7/365.
It reaches a world-wide audience.
It allows me to speak with my voice, and to attract readers who share my interest and appreciate my perspective.
It generates income. More on that later...

But before I go on, please allow me to back up just a little...

I have been intrigued by the idea of an online business since the early days of the Web, for the reasons listed above. Along the way I dabbled with a lot of methods: multi-level marketing (MLM), affiliate marketing, search-engine optimization (SEO) tricks, etc.

I spent a lot of time and money, put up a number of ill-fated websites, put my faith in a lot of web gurus. Nothing panned out for me, but that's no surprise knowing what I know now. In retrospect I recognize those months and years of frustration as an education, a "lost in the wilderness" era that led me to my true home in the world of online business.

That home is Site Build It!, SBI! for short. My life has changed for the better since I joined the SBI! team.
